Fantastic Asian grocery store! One of my favs around DFW. Always clean, tidy, and well stocked. Lots of Asian groceries you can’t find anywhere else. Their seafood section is awesome, the store never smells like fish, despite lots of it being nicely laid out. Nice produce and frozen sections as well. This is my “go to” store when shopping for Asian flavors.

After driving 53 miles to our nearest location, we found out the hard way that you don't go to H Mart if you are not completely familiar with each of the items you need and exactly where to find them in the store.
We asked a lady at the Customer Service counter if there was someone who could help us find some things. She took one look at our list and very rudely said "No, your list (is) too long, no one (is) available to help you."
So, we took our LONG grocery list and left without buying a thing. We did eventually find everything we needed on Amazon ($176 worth), so we certainly won't be going back to H Mart Plano.

I love H Mart because of the variety they have of the foods I need. But most of all, it does not have a smell to it. Many of the exotic establishments I've been to has an odor to it, usually of fish.

H Mart does not have that at all

I've been to H Mart a few times and what brings me back is their ability to stock all the foods I need that I grew up with in the islands. ?

Food court is over priced and confusing, many vendors aren’t open for business. The grocery store on the other hand is awesome. Fish market, prepared food, produce and everything else you can image. Make the trip to check it out.

Hi! So I went to eat with my friends, and we were going to eat at the food court right after class. We are college students. I ordered my food with one of the old ladies with a perm who has glasses. I told her that I wanted this specific order T14, but she thought I meant D14 later on. When I realized my receipt, I went to go up to her to change my order, she got mad. Got up to my face, pointed at my face, and told me that I was wrong. When it was a simple misunderstanding, and started yelling at me, and complained to her co-worker in Korean about me too. I never felt so disrespected, and honestly, as a person of color, it was disheartening. I’m from an immigrant family too, so I understand if someone makes a mistake in a second language, and I have always been taught to respect my elders too. But honestly, I don’t think getting disrespected like that by someone way older than me is ok. I've been going to this place since I was a kid, and I have always had a good experience until now. One of the customers also stood up for me when she was talking badly about me in Korean, which I appreciate. I don’t think I’ll ever order from here again, and honestly, she could have just corrected it and didn’t have to make it such a big deal. I ordered my food to go, and even the people looked irritated. Honestly, be nicer to your customers, you're working and getting paid to serve your customers. I also work too, and go to school. So this very unacceptable. Talk to your staff, or get new staff. I hope no one has to experience this again. I’ve never felt so discriminated as a brown person until now. You could have just fixed it. I hope that lady gets help, not just her but the rest of the older ladies. I can tell they don’t treat their workers well either. Never coming back. Do better. Hire better staff.

The fruit quality is not great. I even hand pick each mango and it looks good and firm. I got home and cut into 4/14 so far and all bad inside. The meat, seafood and dry goods are usually fine but I won’t be getting fruits here anymore. They all look wrinkly and going bad. What a waste of money.

I like I go there almost every day or every week on Thursdays they have a lot of things that u might want and I be on TikTok a lot of times and they have the mango and peach ice cream and fish eggs every thing u might of seen its at H MART I’ll go here almost every time like I wish I live there and I can get things free and I can warm things up and all of that I LOVE THIS PLACE and u should try
