Had a great late season dove hunt. Our guide, Brendan from Double H Outfitters put us on a lot of birds both morning and afternoon. Although we didn't quite limit, it was because of lack of skill and not lack of birds. Great time. I would recommend. Thanks!

Would definitely recommend them for your hunt!! I rarely write reviews--in fact, I've only done one before, but our experiences with Double H Outfitters deserves a mention.

My family and I have used Double H Outfitters multiple times now, and have had amazing experiences each time! Heather was always really nice to work with, responded quickly, and showed understanding when a member of our group was sick and suddenly unable to attend. Daniel was especially great! He stayed in close contact with us over a couple days of hunting, making sure we were in the best locations possible, and even moved us to a whole other field when he found out a lot of doves were there. Can't say enough good things about them.

We ended up having a great time, even though the late season hunts we went on in December 2022 turned out not to have as many birds as our trips in prior years, which were in October. But, we figured that might be due to the bitter cold front that had just pushed through . . . plus that's why they call it "hunting." We still had an amazing time, however, and took several doves thanks to their outstanding knowledge and the courtesy of their team!

At the end of the day, I think that's all you could ask for out of an outfitter: courteous and prompt service, knowledgeable guides, and a commitment to make sure you have the best chances possible. Having used Double H Outiffters several times over the years, this has always been our experience! They have earned a few repeat customers and we are all looking forward to scheduling the next hunts with them as soon as possible!

All the dove hunting outfitters around San Antonio said that the doves are going to be scarce this first weekend of dove season. And most of them suggested possibly postponing your hunt for few weeks. This was our only weekend possible to hunt. Double H Outfitters did everything they could to put us on Doves and did a superb job. If you didn’t limit out the first two days then you just won a great shot. Owner Daniel and his team are awesome. This is my sixth or seventh consecutive years hunting with Double H. Anthony our guide at our fields was an awesome young man with a big smile on his face. I recommend double H Outfitters to everyone. They may things happen when other outfitters good night.

NOT IMPRESSED. I took a group of six and everyone was disappointed! They promised us we would be hunting over sunflower fields away from day hunters Not The Case. We were jammed packed in fields with day hunters. Not Seeing many birds, and when shots were fired we would get sprinkle by other hunters shots. The last day they put us in a weedy field by the Flores ranch with No guide and saw around 5 doves. I called Valerie and expressed my concerns and was told they are migratory birds and she could not control that. Although other hunters around the area were seeing lots of birds. She was very hateful on the phone with me when I brought my concerns up with her. We killed on average 5-7 birds per day with 6 hunters. I believe the the fields were over hunted and they were not the promised Sunflower fields. I Would Not Recommend Double H.

Very poor would not recommend. The hunting was sub par and it wasn't fun being sprinkled by birdshot several times while being crowded in a field. There were multiple times that I felt my safety was at risk. I am sure IF there were more birds there would have been more occasions for unsafe opportunities. Luckily, there were very few birds and this didn't happen
