Ruth photographed my husband and my wedding. We had a wonderful experience with her. She is personable, organized, accommodating, flexible, and we love the quality of our photos. She photographed our wedding party, family, extended family, and captured meaningful photos of our ceremony and reception. We purchased her bronze package and we are very happy with the photos. Ruth balances letting you experience your big day while also using the time well to photograph the things you will want to remember later. She sent us initial preview photos 2 days after our wedding, which was also fantastic.

We recently worked with Ruth Vanden Bos on a destination shoot in the Pacific Northwest to capture the cover photos for our new Celtic folk album as well as promotional shots. Of all our vendors she was probably our favorite to work with: exceptionally organized, very responsive to questions when we had them, full of ideas, flexible, and cheerful. The day of the wedding she just did her thing without needing any guidance or direction from us so we could focus on enjoying the day and each other. I really appreciated that, since we had plenty of logistics to worry about as it was. And her photos were great -- a wide variety of shots capturing all aspects of the wedding and reception. Ruth is the talented and experienced photographer you want for your wedding (or anything you want beautifully captured forever)! Not only does she know the ins and outs of what shots you might want, she knows exactly how to best capture them. For example, I wanted to do a first look with my dad and my husband, and she knew how to walk us through it to make sure she could capture the moment perfectly. That was one of my favorite moments from my wedding day and I am so thankful I have those moments beautifully captured to look back on forever. We used her contact form on her website and she quickly sent a response so we could find out more information and get the process rolling. She sent plenty of emails back and forth with us before both our engagement and wedding photos. We had an in-person meeting with her to discuss details well in advance of our wedding to ensure that we were all on the same page. She was thorough and able to show examples of timelines for the big day.
